November 2012 update: This video was made in 2009, when the first-ever Progeria clinical drug trial was taking place.  We are thrilled to report that the results from that trial were published on September 24, 2012, confirming that the drug being tested has proven effective for Progeria.  PRF raised the $2 million needed for that trial, and is now raising funds for a larger trial that is testing 3 drugs together (including the one that was taken in the first trial).
